More About THE HERMITAGE:  PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Each guest will determine his or her length of stay and pattern of visit  There will be opportunities for prayerful time in the solitude of the hermitage, tranquil walks through the woods in silent contemplation of abundant wildlife. Spiritual Direction is available. Reservations are required.

WHAT TO BRING
Clothing: Bring items appropriate for the outdoors.  A few suggestions are: good walking shoes, comfortable layered clothing (temperatures in the woods may vary from your home), and a sweater or jacket.  Boots are helpful in inclement weather.  Many people prefer lounging-type clothes and slippers for inside.  Bring your personal grooming items.  You may wish to bring insect repellent.  Hermitage food is simple.  A basket of fresh bread, cheese and fruit is provided for each guest.  Water for coffee/tea can be prepared on the gas burner.  Additional meals may be available in the main building depending on retreat schedules.
Check with the main office upon making reservations
