| FACILITY AND GROUNDS:
Our facility,
originally a single Monastery building with three floors, situated on a
hillside, affording picturesque views from every room, has been renovated
and expanded to include a second
building, the new Compass Ridge Conference Center, which has doubled our capacity. Guests
are accommodated in 54 air
conditioned, double bedrooms in our original Monastery building, which
are furnished with a sink, a closet, a desk and two single beds.
There are a limited number of suites
with private bathrooms in the original Monastery building, available for individuals
requiring such amenities. An elevator, wheel chair lift and ramps
make each level accessible. All 50 of the bedrooms
in the new Compass Ridge Conference Center are air conditioned, with private
bathrooms.
Meeting rooms provide gathering
space for groups ranging in number from 10 to 200. These spaces include
small
group rooms, flexibly arranged large
group areas, and a warm chapel,
which comfortably holds 200. Our food service staff prepares wholesome
and nutritious meals, which are served
buffet style, in our newly renovated
dining
room which seats more than 200 guests. We also accommodate any
special dietary needs of our guests. The Center has a small gift
shop. All of the meeting areas and bedrooms are now air-conditioned,
as a part of our expansion
and renovation project .
The newly expanded
dining
room and large group meeting areas in our original Monastery building,
are completed;
new air conditioning units have been installed in the original
bedrooms; and our
second building -
the new Compass Ridge Conference Center,
adjacent to the original Monastery building, is now open. We are now accepting
reservations for the Compass Ridge Conference Center. Call, write, or email
us as soon as possible, if you are interested in booking your group for
either building, in order to ensure your chosen
dates.
